I switched to Mac 6 years ago, and won't go back, but it's a pain in the #$% to watch everything creep along. I have an OLD PC that I use for audio production like a 10-year old Dell optiplex running windows 7 that is now amazingly fast compared to my poor Mac. Adobe Premiere, which I use a lot, takes FOREVER. This OS (El Capitan), now my apps are spontanesously crashing (just disappearing), and simple apps like browsers take a long time to load. last OS, problems with MAIL crashing all the time. Then, with every OS, and every "Patch" for every OS, it slows down. It was running fine when I got it (whatever the native OS was in 2011). This has been a great computer for 6 years and I want to get 6 more out of it. does mac do this to make us all buy new hardware? I don't want to update or upgrade any more, because this is ridiculous. Every time I upgrade, my mac gets slower and slower. ![]()
